Learn about Cava making and enjoy great food while overlooking the vineyards of Penedes
I will take you to the heart of Penedes to one of my favorite cava-wineries. This is an old family-run winery that produces organic Cava and has won several awards.
This winery is surrounded by vineyards, and it offers beautiful views of the Penedes wine region. We will start our tour with a walk into the vineyards where you will see the different grapes that are used, and be explained how the different grapes give different flavor to the cava.
From here we will walk back to the winery to visit the new and modern facility where you will be explained how Cava is made from the picking of the grapes to the bottling.
This visit would not be complete without some tasting; and you will be able to try 3 different kinds all together.
Only a short drive from here, I will take you to a restaurant with stunning views overlooking the Penedes wine region and the Montserrat mountain.
Here you will enjoy a 3 course meal, with only local and fresh ingredients, accompanied with wine and cava.
